What’s more: it’s a fitting conclusion to the Barrytown Trilogy. It’s a smashing book, so full of vitality and heart and humour. Why reserve a rating for a series I haven’t read yet? I’ve read The Van, just put it down an hour ago in fact, and I liked it a lot. But now that I think about it, that idea is pure shite.
